Sandbanks is a small peninsula crossing the mouth of Poole Harbour on the English Channel coast at Poole in Dorset, England. It is well known for the highly regarded Sandbanks Beach and property value; Sandbanks has, by area, the fourth highest land value in the world. One can take the chain ferry over to Studland, Swanage & or explore the Jurassic Coast
Bournemouth is a seaside resort on the southern coast of England. It’s known for having 7 miles of beaches, Victorian architecture and buzzing nightlife. The resort is also home to Bournemouth Pier, an activity centre with an obstacle course, a climbing wall and a zip line. Poole is a tourist resort, attracting visitors with its large natural harbour, history, the Lighthouse arts centre and Blue Flag beaches. The town also has a commercial port with cross-Channel freight and passenger ferry services. From Poole Harbour, boats head south to Brownsea Island. This wooded area has trails and wildlife such as red squirrels, plus 16th-century Brownsea Castle.
The Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site covers 95 miles of stunning coastline from Orcombe Point in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks in Dorset. It is famous for its National Trust sites such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove and many others. Activities include Fossil searching, hiking and Rock climbing.
